The inaugural publication of Third Culture: Studies in Global Childhoods and Cosmopolitan Identities [Vol. 1, No. 1 (2026)] is now available.

Pioneered by former UWI STA lecturer, Dr. Elizabeth Jackson, This new open access, peer-reviewed journal creates a dedicated space for scholarly dialogue on global childhoods and complex cosmopolitan identities, particularly among persons whose formative years were shaped by living in three or more nations.

The journal explores cultural and social issues connected to mobile childhoods that move beyond conventional categories of migrancy, diaspora and bicultural identity

Submissions are welcomed for future editions and includes:

-         Scholarly articles based on original research in the arts, particularly literature, and/or the social sciences

-         Book reviews

-         Autobiographical narratives

-         Original creative writing
