The Institute of International Relations (IIR), in collaboration with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), invites the campus community and wider public to participate in a three-day online workshop on Diplomatic Report Writing from August 3–5, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. (AST).

The workshop will introduce participants to a structured approach to diplomatic writing and reporting, with practical guidance on planning, drafting and editing clear, concise and timely reports for audiences in multilateral diplomacy. Participants will also explore the use of open sources, the preparation of conference and meeting reports, the analysis of international instruments and national follow-up requirements.

Workshop Fees

-          US$600 – UWI/IIR students

-          US$650 – UWI/IIR alumni

-          US$700 – Other participants

All participants will receive a certificate of completion.
