Call for Papers: 21st Annual Caribbean Child Research Conference

Researchers are invited to submit abstracts for the 21st Annual Caribbean Child Research Conference, taking place on November 27–28, 2026 under the theme Adhering to the Rights of Every Child, Everywhere.

Hosted by The University of the West Indies, the regional interdisciplinary conference will be held in person and online and will bring together research focused on children and child-related issues. The conference aims to strengthen the network of researchers working in this area, encourage research in priority and underexplored areas, and support the sharing of findings that can inform policy and practice.

Submission Requirements

Abstracts must:

-          Be directly relevant to the conference theme

-          Be based on research completed within the last three years

-          Outline the research aim, research questions, methodology, main findings and policy recommendations

-          Focus on Child Rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

-          Be no more than 150 words

-          Be accompanied by a biography of no more than 95 words
