The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) invites higher education educators to register for its Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education course, beginning Friday, October 2, 2026. The course is delivered fully online and at your own pace, offering flexibility to engage with the material around your schedule.

Designed for educators with or without formal teacher training, the course provides a practical foundation in contemporary teaching and learning practices for both face-to-face and online environments. Newer educators can develop strategies for creating effective learning experiences, while experienced instructors can use the course to reflect on and strengthen their existing practice.

Over three to five weeks, participants will explore areas including learning activity design, assessment, active learning, reflective practice and evaluating their own teaching performance.
