Call For Stories | 2026 Graduation

Posted Thursday, October 1, 2026

So much of your story was written between your first class and this graduation. Maybe you were the first in your family to enter a lecture hall or had a lecturer see something in you that changed the direction of your life. Maybe you walked into a student club or society as a stranger and left as its president or grew a group project into a real business. Maybe you worked night shifts to pay your fees, became a parent mid-degree or failed a course and came back to ace it.

Your journey matters and it deserves to be shared. Selected submissions will be featured in The UWI St. Augustine's Graduation communications, introducing the campus community to the people behind the Class of 2026.

What We Want to Hear

Tell us about a part of your journey to this achievement that changed you. It helps to start with one moment that captures it.

In 150 to 200 words, tell us:

-          What happened, where you were and who was there

-          Why it mattered to you

-          How it shaped who you are and what you hope to achieve next

-          The form will ask for your full name, programme, email address and a contact number where you can be reached between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You can also upload a photo that helps tell your story.

Submission deadline: October 9th

By submitting, you agree that The UWI St. Augustine Marketing and Communications Office may edit your story and decide where and how it is used across Graduation 2026 platforms.
