The Career Advice Programme (CAP) is designed specifically for first-year students to help you learn more about your interests, strengths, career options and the skills you can begin developing now.
Through a series of interactive sessions, CAP will take you through career exploration, career planning, skills and competencies, SMART goal setting, research, reflection and career visualisation.

- October 8, 2026 | 1:30 p.m. | Career Exploration – Explore career options, uncover your interests and learn how to make informed decisions about your future.
- November 12, 2026 | 1:30 p.m. | Career Planning – Explore tools, resources and strategies to help map your career journey.
- January 21, 2027 | 1:30 p.m. | Skills, Competencies & SMART Goal Setting – Identify, develop and showcase the skills employers are looking for.
- February 4, 2027 | 1:30 p.m. | Research. Reflection. Career Visualization. – Create a career vision board that brings your goals and aspirations to life.
Whether you already have a career in mind or you’re still asking “What could I do with my degree?”, CAP gives you the space to explore before you decide.
