The Institute for Gender and Development Studies (IGDS) invites members of the Campus community to a virtual Graduate Research Seminar featuring Mr. Keston Forde, MPhil candidate in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies, on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

The seminar will explore the topic, “Interrogating the ‘I’ in Patriarchy | The Implicit ‘Me’ in the Male Breadwinner Model.”

The presentation will examine how men in Trinidad and Tobago experience and negotiate the social and economic pressures associated with traditional expectations of masculinity, particularly the belief that a man's identity and social value are tied to his ability to provide financially.
