COTE 2015: Youth Competitions

The UWI St. Augustine’s Department of Economics’ Annual Conference on the Economy (COTE 2015) under the theme Managing Development in Caribbean Economies: The Key Role of Health, Public Policy and Social Security is scheduled for October 8 to 9 2015 at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) Auditorium.

This year features two youth events:

The COTE Debate Competition:

  • The debate takes place on October 1 from 1 to 4pm at the Learning Resource Centre. For further details, please click here.

The COTE Essay Competition:

  • The competition is open to two categories – CAPE and UWI Undergraduate students. The Undergraduate essay category will be on the topic, “Developing Health and Wellness Tourism within the Caribbean: Threat or Opportunity.” Interested participants are to scan and email copy of essay to uwi.cote@gmail.com by September 25 at midnight.
