CARISCIENCE in association with the Faculty of Science and Technology, The UWI St. Augustine and the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) hosts its Annual Conference and General Meeting 2015 to be held at The UWI St. Augustine's Teaching and Learning Complex, Lecture Theatre D from November 25 to 27 under the theme: Science and Technology for the Sustainable Development of the Caribbean. Look out for lectures and discussions covering several areas. 

The conference will feature a Public Lecture by the CARICOM Science Awardee, Professor Vijay Naraynsingh, surgeon and Professor in the Department of Clinical Surgical Sciences, Faculty of Medical Sciences, The UWI St. Augustine.

The scheduled events are as follows:

November 25 | Public Lecture by CARICOM Science Awardee |6 to 7pm

November 26 |Opening Ceremony | 8.30 to 9.40am 

November 26 | Scientific Sessions | 8.30am to 6pm 

• – Session 1: Energy and Industry
• – Session 2: Agriculture, Food Production and Food Security

November 27 | Scientific Sessions | 8.30am to 6pm

• – Session 3: Biodiversity, Natural Resource Use, Conservation and Management
• – Session 4: Science and Technology Research and Development in Trinidad and Tobago

Registration Information

All attendees must complete the Registration Form (MsWord and PDF) and send to the email address cariscience.org@gmail.com.

The following registration fee must be paid in cash at the registration desk on Thursday November 26, 2015: 

• – Academic and non-academic = TT$650

• – Graduate student = TT$150

• – Undergraduate student = FREE 

Please Note: Registration fee does not include lunch.
