ST. AUGUSTINE, Trinidad and Tobago – The Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA), The University of the West Indies (UWI) St. Augustine will host More than Just Jazz, one of its annual student concerts on Saturday 20th April 2013, at 6 pm, at the Daaga Auditorium, UWI, St. Augustine.
More than Just Jazz will feature performances from The UWI Caribbean Contemporary Workshop, comprising students pursuing a BA in Musical Arts and a Certificate in Music at DCFA. Also featured will be an original composition by final-year student Edward Gregory Joseph and local favourites: “Pan in A Minor,” “Portrait of Trinidad,” and the Glen Miller Classic “In the Mood.”
Currently, tickets are priced at $50 general admission and $30 for students and children under 12 and are available at the DCFA, Agostini Street, St. Augustine.
