Lara, Yorke for UWI Golf Tournament

ST. AUGUSTINE, Trinidad and Tobago – Brian Lara and Dwight Yorke hit the greens this Sunday 9th June, 2013 when The University of the West Indies (UWI) St. Augustine’s Faculty of Medical Sciences hosts “GOLFAID 2013, The Inaugural Event” at Millennium Lakes Golf and Country Club, Trincity. The event, held under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency, Justice Anthony Carmona SC, will benefit The UWI St. Augustine Faculty of Medical Sciences Students’ Support Fund, the Autistic Society of Trinidad and Tobago (ASTT) and Persons Associated with Visual Impairment (PAVI).

The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) is the Platinum Sponsor for the event alongside with other major sponsors Medical Associates, West Shore Medical, Rotary Club of St. Augustine and The Class of ‘74.

Lara and Yorke will represent Kimberly Clarke Trinidad Limited and will be up against 39 other two-player teams vying for ten pairs of attractive prizes. The gold tournament begins promptly at 10:30 am and players are advised that registration takes place from 8:00 a.m.
