$100,000 in prizes up for grabs- UWI and NEDCO host second instalment of Entrepreneurship Boot Camp

ST. AUGUSTINE, Trinidad & Tobago –The University of the West Indies (UWI) St. Augustine, in collaboration with the National Entrepreneurship Development Company Limited (NEDCO) and Entrepreneurial Training Institute & Incubation Centre is pleased to host the second Entrepreneurship Training Series entitled “Entrepreneurship Boot Camp,” From July 1st to 6th, 2013. 

The boot camp will assist graduates in developing entrepreneurial skills, attributes attitudes.  Participants will learn the critical skills for writing effective business plans and they will be mentored by accomplished professionals who have started their own highly successful international businesss from right here in Trinidad and Tobago.  the Training will involve classes, group work, field trips, guest lectures and exciting activities to help aspiring entrepreneurs bring their business ideas to life. 

Main highlights of the boot camp include the Business Idea Competition, where the three most innovative final projects or business ideas will be recognized and awarded, and the Business Plan Competition, where the top three business plans will be selected for financial consideration of their project by NEDCO. First place will take home $50,000, second place $30,000 and third place $20,000.
