The University of the West Indies (UWI) Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business (GSB) has strengthened its international linkages by partnering with the Oxford Saïd Business School. Together, the Schools have teamed up to administer the “Oxford – Lok Jack GSB Scenarios Programme” over a five-day workshop in July 2008.

The programme, which will be taught by Oxford Saïd Faculty, is tailored for persons seeking to develop forward-thinking skills and techniques for scenario building and strategic engagement.

“Because of this partnership, executives will no longer have to leave their families and pay exorbitant travel fees to participate in such a programme,” said Joy-Roma Santo, Conferencing and Executive Education Manager, GSB, “At the same time, they will be receiving quality international education.”

Oxford Saïd Business School is recognised as Europe’s fastest growing business school and is an integral part of The University of Oxford. Like the Lok Jack GSB, the School embodies academic rigour and forward thinking and is dedicated to developing a new generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs.

The programme will be administered by the Lok Jack GSB to CEOs and other executives in the public and private sectors within the Caribbean Region, Latin and North America. Participants will receive co-branded certificates from both institutions.
