ST. AUGUSTINE, Trinidad and Tobago. January 5, 2016 – The Centre for Language Learning at the St Augustine Campus of The University of the West Indies (UWI) is offering entrepreneurs, international traders and marketers, an opportunity to interact with one of the world’s leading experts on increasing international sales through digital channels and communicating effectively with foreign customers.

In a series of workshops carded between January 12 and 15, Sarah Carroll, Founder of GROW GLOBAL, a pioneering consultancy changing the way we do business globally, will show persons how to build and optimise a successful world-class website to boost web traffic and gain new business from international customers. Web Optimization for International Trade will also provide ground-breaking hints and tips on free tools and leading-edge web techniques to structure, design and optimise websites for international visitors.

According to CLL Director, Dr. Beverly-Anne Carter, participants will leave the workshop with five key skills to plan an international web strategy right from the start by targeting international customers more effectively to increase overseas sales; increasing visibility on the international web; reaching new global customers and increasing the number of global website enquiries.
