Twelve cricket clubs will square off once again to compete for the top prize of $40,000 and a Challenge Trophy in the annual UWI–Unicom International T-20 Cricket Tournament.  The tournament takes place from January 9 to 19, 2020 at the Sir Frank Worrell Cricket Ground at The UWI Sport and Physical Education Centre (SPEC).

Exciting plans for the upcoming tournament were revealed recently at the official launch event at SPEC when Cricket UWI St Augustine (CUSA), the event organisers, and title sponsor UNICOM announced the fixtures. Cricket enthusiasts can look forward to the return of defending champions Queens Park Cricket Club (QPCC), who will go up against formidable teams such as FC Clark Road United and Georgetown All Stars, in a battle to reclaim the UWI-UNICOM title.

The board and management of CUSA have been the organisers of the tournament since its inauguration in 2012. UNICOM Limited remains title sponsor of the matches for the fourth consecutive year. Don’t miss all the cricket action on Campus! See you there!
