ST. AUGUSTINE, Trinidad and Tobago. Wednesday 8th June 2022 – As the St. Augustine Campus of The University of the West Indies (The UWI) ramps up for face-to-face operations from September 2022, prospects are being invited to a specially tailored session that will offer in-depth information and advice for future students considering Postgraduate education. This specially tailored session partly sponsored and hosted by the Trinidad Hilton and Conference Centre will be held on Tuesday 14 June, 2022.
Pursuing a Postgraduate degree can improve your job prospects, helps progress your career or explore a new one and places you on the best pathway to success. It also allows you to contribute deeply to your chosen field of study by becoming a specialist. Professor Hariharan Seetharaman, Director Graduate Studies, notes that landmark research, inventions and innovations in every academic field are the hallmarks of a progressive society.
“This has been the top agenda of The UWI”, he said. “We hope to create more awareness of the wide cross-section of programmes offered and the exciting research opportunities available. Anyone seeking to level up their future should attend our Postgraduate Open Day,” he explained.
Prospects will have the opportunity to connect with current Postgrad students, lecturers, researchers, faculty, Campus Executive Management and Deans at the cocktail-styled informational event and gain insight into the UWI Postgraduate experience through these interactions.
