UWI St. Augustine Campus closure due to Tropical Storm Warning

ST. AUGUSTINE, Trinidad and Tobago. Tuesday 28th June 2022 –In light of the Tropical Storm Warning that has been issued for Trinidad and Tobago, The University of the West Indies (The UWI) St. Augustine Campus will close from 12 noon today - Tuesday, June 28 to allow staff sufficient time to return safely to their homes to make the necessary preparations for the impending weather system. At this time, no students are on Campus as physical classes have not yet resumed. The Campus will continue to monitor the weather system and updates being issued to the national community and will advise further on the resumption of face-to-face operations. The safety of our staff and students remains our top priority.
