Do you have what it takes? UWI Got Talent 2022 Auditions on Saturday

ST. AUGUSTINE, Trinidad and Tobago. Thursday August 18, 2022- As The University of the West Indies (The UWI) St. Augustine Campus prepares for its physical re-opening, student activities are already abuzz. Vocalists, musicians, dancers, actors, spoken word artists, comedians, and all other student performers of The UWI St. Augustine Campus are invited to The UWI Got Talent, 2022 Auditions.  It takes place on Saturday August 20th, 2022, from 10:00 am to 03:00 p.m. at the LRC Auditorium, The UWI St. Augustine Campus.

Hosted by The Division of Student Services and Development (DSSD), the recently launched 2022 edition of the Campus’ “UWI Got Talent” competition aims to raise awareness of the importance and value of performing arts towards society. The programme provides an empowering and professional platform for students to share their performing talents with the rest of the world.

The auditions will allow registered students of The UWI a chance at winning the grand prize of $15,000. Participants also benefit from talent training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for advancement into local, regional, and international entertainment/creative industries. Solo and group acts are welcomed, and participants are required to prepare a one-minute audition piece.
