ACPA Award for dedication to Student Services to Dr Jacqueline Huggins

The UWI St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad and Tobago. Thursday, April 13, 2023-The American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Foundation has selected Dr Jacqueline Huggins of the Division of Student Services and Development at The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus, as Diamond Honouree, Class of 2023.

 Dr Jacqueline Huggins, Manager Student Life and Development, is ACPA’s Assembly Coordinator, International Divisions & Members. She also volunteers with International Association of Student Affairs and Services (IASAS Global), focusing on bridging the gap of student services among regions as well as championing the cause of students with disabilities.

 Established in 1999, ACPA’s Diamond Honouree Programme provides two-fold support through recognition and funding. It recognises colleagues who have made outstanding contributions to ACPA, student affairs and services, and to higher education. It provides an ideal opportunity to raise funds so as to encourage future work and scholarship. Individuals nominated may be leaders of the profession, supervisors, teachers, or influencers in quality students’ experiences.

 Each Honouree was required to raise US$2,500 which will go towards future work and scholarship.
