The Trinidad and Tobago public health system could stand to benefit from an upcoming Health Outcomes lecture by Professor Paul Kind, carded to take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday 27th March, 2009 at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC), UWI, St. Augustine Campus. Titled “Health Outcomes – The first 2000 years”, Kind’s lecture will delve into the effects of medical interventions and programmes on patients.
Health Outcomes research aims to improve health systems by pinpointing and solving specific inefficiencies. Professor Paul Kind has a multidisciplinary research background and medical career spanning more than 30 years. His presentation will have universal appeal as it is relevant to the common man, as well as health and social science academics, policy makers, insurance and healthcare institutions.
