The Festival Arts Chorale (UWI, St. Augustine), closes the 2008/2009 academic year with two post-Easter concerts in North and South Trinidad. The first takes place on Saturday 25th April at 7:30 p.m. at the newly commissioned Daaga Hall, UWI, St. Augustine, while the second takes place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Harris Promenade on Sunday 3rd May from 6:30 p.m.
Fresh from performances at the UWI 60th Anniversary Gala, the Chorale, under the musical direction of UWI Lecturer Jessel Murray, presents the very popular Schubert Mass in G, accompanied by the National Sinfonia Orchestra, with guests Turon Roberts-Nicholas, Marlon De Bique and Michelle Dowrich.
