Lok Jack GSB offers scholarships for essay competition

“What strategies can a Caribbean leader use to become innovative?” This is the topic of Lok Jack GSB’s 2009 Essay Competition, now open to holders of an undergraduate Degree.  The GSB is offering two International MBA scholarships as grand prizes to writers of the two best essays. The first place winner will be awarded a scholarship of full tuition funding, while the second place winner will have a 50% tuition funding prize.  

Competition rules are as follows:

  1. Essays should not exceed 1000 words, single-spaced, 12 pt type
  2. Bibliographic references may be included on a separate page
  3. Essay cover sheet must include Name, Address, Phone Number and Email address
  4. Entrants must possess an undergraduate Degree and at least three years' work experience
  5. Winners will be expected to start classes with the January 2010 cohort
  6. The Judges' decision is final

Entrants must submit their essays by 4 pm on December 9th, 2009, at the GSB campus, Max Richards Drive, Uriah Butler Highway North West, Mt. Hope. Winners will be announced on January 10th 2010.
