SALISES Forum - The UNC Internal Elections: implications for national politics

The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) is pleased to announce a Forum entitled “The UNC Internal Elections: implications for national politics.” It takes place on Thursday 28th January, 2010, beginning promptly at 10 am at the Conference Room, Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies, UWI (St. Augustine) Campus.  

Panelists are:

  • Professor Selwyn Ryan, Political Scientist and former Director SALISES.
  • Dr. Indira Rampersad, Lecturer in International Relations, UWI.
  • Mr. Garvin Nicholas, Executive Member, Movement for National Development.
  • Mr. Winston Dookeran, Political Leader, Congress of the People.

The session will be chaired by Patrick Watson, Director SALISES.

Members of the media, the University Community including students, and the general public are invited to attend and to participate in the discussion following the presentation of the panelists on this issue of extreme national significance and relevance.  Light refreshments shall be served.
