UWI Arts Chorale presents ‘New York, New York’

The University of the West Indies (UWI) Arts Chorale and The UWI SSTeel, the premier performing ensembles at The UWI, will present “New York, New York,” a fundraising concert to aid their 10th anniversary tour to New York in April 2010, where they will serve as ambassadors of Trinidad and Tobago’s cultural diversity. The concert takes place at 7 pm on March 27th at Daaga Auditorium, UWI St Augustine Campus.

“New York, New York” features a wide repertoire, including classical, Broadway, rock, and folk music. Guest artiste, Lletesha Sylvester, multiple winner of the 2010 Music Festival, will also perform.

Tickets are $100 and are available at the two locations of The UWI Department of Creative and Festival Arts, on Agostini Street and on Gordon Street, St Augustine, as well as from The UWI Arts Chorale and The UWI SSTeel.
