Procedures for Medical Emergencies on Campus

In the event of medical emergencies affecting staff, students and visitors to the St. Augustine Campus, please refer to the Protocols for Emergency Calls to the Health Services Unit (HSU) and the Emergency Call Reporting Form.

These documents are meant to guide members of staff when reporting medical emergencies to the HSU. They specify exactly what information the HSU telephone operator will need from you, about the patient. 

Where possible, this information should be displayed on a wall next to a telephone operated by an administrative officer or other similar staff member. 

N.B. Students who fall ill during examinations must be escorted to the HSU by an invigilator.
