The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus, inducts new students with a revamped orientation programme this year, entitled “Welcome to UWI.” It will take place from Monday 15th August to Wednesday 14th September, 2011.
Through this new multiple-event programme, incoming students will gain an all-round view of what they can expect from The University. It aims to assist students with their transition to university life, as well as to help them manage their lives throughout their UWI careers, by addressing four distinct categories: UWI Culture, Personal/Social Development, University Administration, and Learning Management/Academic Development.
