Celebrating 75 Years of UWI’s Research Excellence and Innovation
Exploring the Past, Present, and Future of St Augustine Campus Research
The UWI has been and continues to be a pivotal force in every aspect of Caribbean development, residing at the centre of all efforts to improve the well-being of people across the region for the past 75 years. Research has been one of the core mandates of the University besides education and outreach.
As part of the 75th-anniversary celebrations, eight diverse faculties of the St Augustine Campus have embarked on showcasing its exciting research activity as “one mega show”. This research festival is intended to reflect the past and present innovations of the St Augustine Campus while serving as the platform to set the research agenda for the future.
The research festival mainly comprises:
- Presentation of research findings and ideas through booth displays, oral and poster sessions, panel discussions, films, podcasts, videos and theatrical plays
