UWI Professor Chandrabhan Sharma, Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Engineering has been hailed for his contributions to the improvement of education by the Educational Activities Board of the The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). In recognition of his “leadership in the establishment of the Caribbean Accreditation Council for Engineering and Technology (CACET) in 15 countries in Region 9,” he has been awarded the 2014 IEEE Educational Activities Meritorious Achievement Award in Accreditation Activities.
