Health training

At the 16th Trinidad & Tobago Medical Research Conference, hosted by the Trinidad & Tobago Medical Association (TTMA) at Crowne Plaza Hotel on 29th June, Prof. Zulaika Ali Presented two papers: “Challenges of providing a comprehensive, multidisciplinary paediatric oncology service at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex,” and “Up-skilling health care professionals for the 21st Century: The role of Trinidad & Tobago Health Training Centre.”

Professor Ali, Director of the UWI Telehealth Programme, also received an award from the TTMA for the “Most recent innovation in medicine: UWI Telehealth.”
