Research AwardsThe inaugural UWI St. Augustine Research Awards Ceremony takes place on October 3, 2012 from 5.30pm at the Daaga Auditorium. This ceremony is an initiative organized by the Office of the Campus Principal in collaboration with the various Faculties, the School for Graduate Studies and Research, Marketing and Communications Department and other Departments of the UWI St. Augustine Campus. It celebrates outstanding and accomplished researchers (both staff and graduate students) from the various Faculties. It is also about building awareness of the research at the Campus in the minds of our wider communities. Two types of Research Awards will be presented at the ceremony: Faculty Awards and Campus Awards. The recipients of grants under the highly competitive UWI-Trinidad and Tobago Research and Development Impact Fund will also be recognized. This Fund is supported by dedicated funding from the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. |
