Opened in 2016, the National Aquatic Centre in Couva Trinidad is a premier aquatic facility designed for high-level competition and training. Featuring a 50m main competition Myrtha pool, a 50m outdoor swimming pool, and a 25m diving facility. The venue also includes a fitness room with sauna, Turkish bath and a cool water pool, state of the art timing system, underwater video, and digital screen playback. Seating is available for 940 spectators.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Inaugurated on June 12, 1982, the Haseley Crawford Stadium is one of Trinidad and Tobago\u2019s iconic sporting facilities. Following a major transformation in 2023, the stadium now boasts a seating capacity of 23,000 spectators. The stadium also features a certified Mondo track, making it suitable for top-level athletics competitions and sporting events. <\/span><\/p>\n

Officially opened on September 9th, 2016, the National Racquet Sport Centre was built to host International, regional & national competition across a wide range of racquet sports. The centre accommodates a majority of racquet sports such as Lawn Tennis, Table-Tennis, Squash, Badminton, Racquet Ball and many more. The National Racquet Sports Centre has Eight (8) Outdoor Courts \u2013 One (1) Centre Court (asphalt) \u2013 with seating for 1500, two (2) Outdoor Upper Courts \u2013 (Cement), Two (2) Outdoor Lower Courts \u2013 (Asphalt), and three more outdoor courts with two (2) being Clay Courts as well as four (4) Indoor Courts (asphalt).<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sport and Physical Education Centre (SPEC) at The UWI STA campus is a vibrant hub for sport, fitness, and athlete development. The facility provides the opportunity for students to enjoy sport and participate in sport and exercise as a means of achieving a healthier lifestyle, developing new skills and maintaining or improving their sporting talents. During the academic semester SPEC runs a sports programme using certified coaches, which includes activities such as football, cricket, badminton, taekwondo, hockey, and more. For the UWI Games, SPEC will serve as a key venue for training, competition and athlete preparation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
