The turtles nesting on the island\u2019s beaches come from feeding grounds throughout the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. The main block includes a lighted clock tower which houses a gifted chiming clock from King Edward VII; one of the major focuses of the main structure. Built in 1904, like some of the other mansions, as a gift to Dr Enrique Prada, former Mayor of Port of Spain, it was the official residence of the Prada family for nineteen years.
