Crime remains one of the greatest issues facing Trinidad and Tobago today. The UWI’s Institute of International Relations (IIR), partnering with the Trinidad and Tobago Private Security Association (TTPSA) and the Greater Tunapuna Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GTCIC), invites you to an important symposium on research-based solutions. The symposium will focus on findings from scholarly work conducted by IIR’s Dr Michał Pawiński and Dr Annita Montoute.
“Towards Improved Public Security: Crime Reduction and Prevention through the Lenses of Private Security Industry and Law Enforcement Agencies in Trinidad and Tobago” will bring together representatives of the government, private security, security service providers, and academia.
