Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering
In addition to the Faculty's General Admission Requirements, the Department of Civil Engineering requires that all applicants possess at least * GCE Advanced level passes in Pure Mathematics or Mathematics (Pure and Applied) and
* Advanced Level in Physics and
* Ordinary Level in Chemistry.
Please note that due to the competitive nature of the application process, fulfilment of these minimum requirements DOES NOT guarantee entry into the Department. Unsuitable applicants will not be acknowledged.

The Civil Engineering Degree Programme provides core competency in the essential engineering sub-disciplines and project management, and offers a wide choice of specialisation within any of the five sub-disciplines in the final year of the programme.
The Civil with Environmental Engineering Degree Programme also provides core competency in the five sub-disciplines and
civil engineering management
and offers streamlined specialisation in environmental engineering in the final year of the programme.
It is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) of the UK to the BEng level, en route to CEng status.
