Engineering Posse

Engineering Posse consists of a cadre of staff and students from various departments of the Faculty of Engineering, with its core membership from the engineering workshops and laboratories.

Well-known on the UWI St. Augustine Campus, Engineering Posse features a rhythm section with musical instruments that include their own hand-made 'tuk tuk' and pvc pipe horn. Musical abilities range from singing, dancing, drumming, and playing the trumpet and steelpan.

Recently, Engineering Posse has been extended to form the Engineering Posse Steel Orchestra, which provides entertainment at the Faculty's functions and on request performs for the university and wider community on an ad hoc basis.

Engineering Posse has performed at several events including The ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 Warm Up Matches hosted at SPEC (Sports and Physical Education Centre), UWI, St. Augustine Campus in March.

Engineering Posse has been in existence since the early 1990s and has its name well-established on campus.
