MSc Programme Gets Accreditation

The MSc Petroleum Engineering programme, run by the department of Chemical Engineering has been awarded a certificate of accreditation by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.

COMSOL Software - FREE Training & Workshops for Staff

The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering is offering FREE training sessions and workshops that will be hosted by the developers of the COMSOL Multiphysics Software.
The training sessions are only open to faculty and staff ot the UWI. Deadline for registration is January 8th.

WIJE - Call For Papers

A Special Issue on “Project Management/Engineering Initiatives and Challenges for a Sustainable World” is scheduled to be published in July 2013.
The prime objective of this special issue is to publish original research, works and empirical results by researchers and practitioners in the discipline of Project Management/Engineering and associated fields. We are particularly interested in papers that critically assess the progress that has been made in research and development and practical implications for sustainable development in the Caribbean region. ...more

West Indian Journal of Engineering (WIJE) now has a new website.

Currently, twenty nine journals are online.
The update of the website is ongoing, with the aim to eventually providing all the journals published (from 1967 to present).
