NextLab A four-member team comprising two students from The University of the West Indies (UWI) Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has won the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) NextLab Award for Excellence in Technology Innovation at MIT on Tuesday 11th May, 2010.

Campus Appointments Committee has appointed Dr. Gail Baccus-Taylor as Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Dr. Richard Clarke as Head of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Professor Stephan Gift as Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for the period August 1st, 2010 to July, 31st 2013.
