Undergraduate Programme

 

The undergraduate dental education programme leads to the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.), and extends over five years (10 semesters). Students in years 3, 4 and 5 also continue training during summer. The academic year begins in September of each year.

 

Phase I - Basic Health & Dental Sciences

Dental Auxiliary Programme

 

The UWI School of Continuing Studies in collaboration with the UWI Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS), School of Dentistry offers a one-year Certificate for the training of Dental Assistants. This forms the foundation of the other two Associate Degree Programmes: The Associate Degree in Dental Hygienists and Dental Laboratory Technician respectively.  more...
