The practitioner of Pharmacy is a vital part of the total health care. Over the last twenty years, dramatic changes which have taken place in health care systems have created many new and exciting roles for the pharmacy practitioner. The programme of study in Pharmacy leads to the BSc Pharmacy and extends over four years.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Programme in Pharmacy is to provide a high quality of professionals to serve the needs of society in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Care and the Pharmaceutical Sciences. This mission will be accomplished via innovative and exemplary programmes of education and learning at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels that promote the concept of the health care team; and via a programme that promotes excellence in research.
