The School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) recently highlighted the contribution of one of its earliest visionaries. Professor Williams commenced his tertiary education at the Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture (now the St. Augustine Campus of The UWI) in 1944. He has contributed enormously to national development and travelled extensively sharing and gaining knowledge and experience of livestock farming and veterinary medicine in other tropical and subtropical regions.

The Opening Ceremony for the Holman Williams Building took place at its location at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt. Hope.
