The Faculty of Social Sciences will be hosting a seminar entitled "Breaking the Silence:Building Effective Responses for Adolescent Suicide Prevention from November 20-22, 2012 at the Faculty of Social Sciences Lounge. The seminar is aimed at training professionals/counsellors, teachers and parents on:

• Protective factors and resiliency
• The role of teachers in helping to prevent suicide
