Biology Research:

My research interest are quite diverse but all center around food security with a focus on crops of high regional agronomic importance.

  • Orange rust of Sugarcane – Pathogen diversity and breeding for resistance
  • Super Elongation Disease of cassava – Disease diagnosis and control
  • Natural product antifungals
  • Biological controls
  • Drought resistance - Cocoa and Pigeon pea
