Academic dress

Undergraduates and non-degree graduates are entitled to wear a scarlet gown, calf length, with round sleeves cut below the elbow. (no hood)

BLUE princetta gown of special tropical style, simple shape, with cape sleeves and 1 ½ “ self-facing, to be worn calf length: hood, blue outside, faced with AVOCADO GREEN and top edge bound with University red on each side.

The same gown as Agriculture: hood, blue outside, faced with PLUMBAGO BLUE and top edge bound with University red.

Scarlet panama gown of special tropical style with longer and fuller sleeves than that of masters’ gown with sleeves lined and piped black, pointed with facings and yoke piped black: Hood, full shape BLACK PANAMA fully lined with red and bound as for Masters’ hood; BLACK VELVET MORTARBOARD WITH BLACK TASSEL.
