The Institute of International Relations (IIR) continues to embark upon scholarly activities that endeavour to widen its intellectual reach beyond the boundaries of the University.
One such activity is a Memorial Lecture carded for November 23rd, 2007, in honour of our deceased colleague Dr. Herb Addo, who distinguished himself as a critical theorist within the tradition of International Relations.
Professor Johan Galtung, internationally recognized as the pioneer of Peace Studies, has graciously accepted our invitation to deliver the feature address at the event. Professor Galtung feature address is entitled “The Decline and Fall of the US Empire – And Then What?”
The event is carded for 6-8pm at the Institute of Critical Thinking.
A cocktail reception immediately follows under the auspices of the Interim Campus Principal, Prof. Bridget Brereton.
