  • September, 1995 to April,1996 – Statistician: Participated in the development of data collection processes and the conduct of quality control and data analyses with regard to the Survey of Small and Medium Sized Establishments - Trinidad and Tobago 1995.  This study was done based upon the collaborative efforts of the Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER), The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, the EIM Consultants of the Netherlands, and the Warwick Research Institute, Warwick University, Coventry, United Kingdom.

Ministry of Consumer Affairs, The Government of Trinidad and Tobago

  • September, 1997 to December, 1997 – Statistician: Provided technical advice and participated in the development of data collection processes and data analysis with regard to the National Consumer Profile.  This study was pursued in order to obtain a better understanding of consumer attitudes and behaviour nationwide.

  • June, 2000 to 2002 – Social Scientist: Supervision of all analytical processes associated with the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey – Trinidad and Tobago.  Also responsible for the preparation of Preliminary Report and Full Report for Trinidad and Tobago.

  • December 2002 –  May 2003 – Private Consultant: Prepared a paper entitled Major Trends Affecting Families in Central America and the Caribbean.

  • September 2003 – November 2003 – Private Consultant: Prepared an Ethnographic Study of Persons Living with HIV/AIDS in Trinidad and Tobago

  • April 2004 – May 2004 – Private Consultant: Prepared a paper to assume the form of A Pilot Study to Compute a Social Vulnerability Index for Selected Caribbean Countries.

  • May, 2005 –  April 2006 – Consultant Demographer: Conduct and prepare A Demographic Study of Montserrat in response to the Second Sustainable Development Plan.  The consultancy involved substantial field work.

  • January, 2006 to October 2007 – Social Scientist: Supervision of all analytical processes associated with the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey – Trinidad and Tobago 2006.  Also responsible for the preparation of Preliminary Report and Full Report for Trinidad and Tobago.

  • April, 2006 – September, 2006 – Consultant Demographer: Participate as a resource person in the delivery of training and write chapters towards the preparation of the Survey of Living Conditions – St. Lucia 2005.  This consultancy was executed by Kairi Consultants Ltd.

 UNECLAC, Port of Spain

  • June, 2006 – November, 2006 – Consultant Demographer: Conduct and prepare a Study of Youth in Trinidad and Tobago based upon analyses of population census data from the 2000 Round of Census in Trinidad and Tobago.  The consultancy involved substantial use of SPSS.

  • August, 2006 – April, 2007 – Consultant Demographer: Participate as a resource person in the delivery of training and write chapters towards the preparation of the Survey of Living Conditions – Trinidad and Tobago 2005.  This consultancy was executed by Kairi Consultants Ltd.

December, 2006 to December 2007 – Consultant Demographer: Participate as a resource person in the delivery of training and write chapters towards the preparation of the Survey of Living Conditions – Cayman Islands 2007.  This consultancy was executed by Kairi Consultants Ltd.
