Roy Mc CreeDr Roy Mc Cree attained a BA Degree (French, Spanish, Sociology) in 1986 and his MSc in Sociology in 1995, both from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad, where he has worked since 1987. He received his PhD in Sociology of Sport in 2005 from Leicester University, United Kingdom. He joined the SALISES in 1991 and has been Research Fellow since 1996. He has also been the Assistant Editor to the Caribbean Dialogue, published by the SALISES, since 1995. He has lectured in several sociology courses and now serves as lecturer in the Sociology of Sport and Social Policy. His special research interests include sport and popular culture. |
