Overview
In The UWI eco-system, our guiding motto, “Oriens ex Occidente Lux” or “A Light Rising from the West,” illuminates our path, ideals and everything we do. Therefore, pursuing continuing institutional accreditation (CIA) supports our continuous journey toward excellence.
This CIA process is not just about a self-study, a site visit or an evaluation. It is a commitment to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of our academic programmes and administrative services. It serves to place a spotlight on our activities, illuminating the path we are taking towards fulfilling our mission and vision, and keeps us focused.
The process helps to ensure that every member of our community benefits from a higher calibre of education and service. This commitment helps us not only to meet, but to exceed expectations, propelling our University into a future bright with possibility.
Process Highlights
Our approach includes:
- Extensive self-evaluation via the self-study
