How are children admitted into The ASCC?
Priority is given to children of staff and students of the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, then to staff and students of other campuses and affiliated institutions-The Hugh Wooding Law School and Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.

There is no fee for applying. Once an application is submitted children are enrolled on a first come first served basis. After the initial intake priority will be given to siblings.
What are the facilities like?
The ASCC is located in a building which was specifically renovated to be a child care centre. We have a computer room, lounge and activity rooms. There is also a large fenced play area.
How many staff members are there in the ASCC?
The day-to-day operations of the ASCC are managed by a Coordinator who reports to the Management Committee. She is assisted by Monitors and Student Assistants.
All staff are certified in First Aid.
What will my child do at The ASCC?
Your child will be encouraged to participate in a range of age-appropriate activities.
Also, while at the ASCC, your children can play with games, build puzzles, read books as well as have access to videos, computer games and sports equipment. At the ASCC our mandate is to emphasise fun and encourage thinking outside of the box. Your child’s ideas will always be taken into consideration as we work to build and enforce a warm, caring and all-inclusive atmosphere.
