Effective curriculum design and planning are fundamental to successful learning experiences. By strategically aligning learning objectives, content, and assessments, educators can create a cohesive journey that meets learners’ needs and achieves instructional goals.
The UWI’s Board for Undergraduate Studies (BUS), and the Board for Graduate Studies and Research (BGSR) have approved quality standards, resources and templates to support programme and course proposals.

When determining these hours, it is essential to consider student workload carefully. To support this process, the university has adopted a workload estimator tool that helps faculty identify and evaluate the various activities contributing to overall student workload.
