
Dr. Juliet Jones
Dr. Juliet Jones is an education professional with over twenty years of experience in teaching/lecturing, teacher professional development, curriculum development and education administration in the secondary, tertiary, and public sectors of the education system.
Dr. Jones is an advocate for ‘creative education’. She has made paper presentations at both local and international conferences about her research into creative education in postcolonial twenty-first century Caribbean/OAS contexts (http://etheses.whiterose.ac.uk/21707/).
In her professional career, she has endeavoured to engender critical dialogue about the practice of innovative approaches to teaching and learning through the adoption of a ‘hybrid model of creative education’ which she conceptualised in 2018 based on her research findings.
Dr. Jones brings to The UWI a wealth of knowledge, creative pedagogical skills and experience, having served various roles and positions in the education industry.
