Online and Blending Teaching at the UWI
The University of the West Indies (The UWI) is unwavering in its commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences. To ensure this, The UWI has established several policies, including The Policy on Quality Assurance of Online and Blended Courses and Programmes at The UWI, The UWI Global Online Policy, and The UWI Multi-Campus Teaching and Learning Initiative (MCTLI) Policy.
Teaching Modalities
Teaching modalities encompass the diverse methods and formats through which educational content is delivered. The definitions below highlight the modality at two crucial levels in the UWI context: programme and course. The modalities take into account three fundamental parameters, including instructional delivery mode, time, and flexibility.
